Get In On The Fight With FanDuel Sportsbook
Aug 17 | 2022
I’m a sports fiend – you name it, I love it. A few of my buddies have always been into sports betting, but for me, just being a spectator was enough.
Now that FanDuel Sportsbook is FINALLY live in Ontario and I have been watching and listening to my friends constantly talking about their next bets, I am starting to get a ton of FOMO.
For example, last week we all went to the Toronto game and I watched them all cash in on their bets even though I was telling them what to bet! Now with UFC 278 coming up this weekend my group chat has been blowing up.
So after sitting on the sidelines, I finally decided to download the FanDuel Sportsbook App. I have to say, it makes betting on your favorite sports a breeze, even for newbies like me. They have a rookie-friendly app that allows you to make bets and keep up with the action all in one place. They even have in-depth guides for new players, so if you don’t know what any of the terminologies are, no sweat.
As a big UFC junkie, I have been counting down the days for UFC 278. I know Kamaru Usman is a heavy favorite, but Leon Edwards has been on another level for the last couple of years. The guy is a quiet, hard worker and I would not be surprised if he pulled off the upset this weekend. Outside of the welterweight championships, there are a ton of fights leading up to it…
Middleweight: Paulo Costa vs. Luke Rockhold
Men’s bantamweight: Jose Aldo vs. Merab Dvalishvili
Heavyweight: Marcin Tybura vs. Alexandr Romanov
Light heavyweight: Tyson Pedro vs. Harry Hunsucker
Welterweight championship: Kamaru Usman (c) vs. Leon Edwards 2
Signing up for a FanDuel Sportsbook account couldn’t be easier. You can sign up online or through the app, which is free to download. They’ll ask you for some basic info like your social security #, so that they can keep all of your information safe.
Making deposits and cashing out winnings is also super easy, all I had to do was link up my debit card or bank account. I love that you can cash out your winnings any time you want – no crazy wait times.
The fight is THIS Saturday and I’m even more excited now that I have finally signed up and have some money riding on it.
