Each Friday, FindBet will preview the week's DFS slate, highlighting players that are priced well on DFS sites, as well as some contrarian plays that can push your team to the top of the leader board.
Most NFL DFS games have you putting a team together with players from a certain slate of games. It could be just Sunday 1:00 PM games or it could be every game that is slated for the week. Once the last game that has eligible players is over, the final payouts are made according to how many fantasy points each team scored. Each player is worth a certain dollar amount, and you have a cap of $60,000 to build your team with. You have to have 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX (RB, WR, or TE) and 1 DEF.
The general scoring rules include (6) points for each rushing and receiving touchdown, (4) points for each passing touchdown, (0.1) points for each rushing and receiving yard gained, (0.04) points for each passing yard, and also (0.5) points for each reception. There are other scoring opportunities for defenses. Let's take a look at players we like this week.
Players to Target:
Jared Goff (QB) - $7800
Goff and the Rams take on the Greg Williams-less Jets this week. Goff is a great value play and has actually been a Top 10 fantasy QB the last 3 weeks.
JK Dobbins (RB) - $5900
It's the Dobbins and Edwards show now in Baltimore. With Mark Ingram being retired to the bench and the Ravens matching up against the Jaguars, Dobbins is a solid play at that price point.
Jonathan Taylor (RB) - $7400
The Colts have finally, FINALLY, given the keys to their backfield to Taylor and he has flourished as the #1 runner. He has an excellent matchup this week against a Houston Defense who is in the bottom third of the league in stopping the run.
Calvin Ridley (WR) - $8400
Ridley will most likely be without Julio Jones again this week, and with the Buccaneers coming to town, there will be plenty of points flying in this one.
Diontae Johnson (WR) - $6800
Johnson has been in the dog house a bit the last couple games because of his drops, but I think this week he gets back on track against the Bengals on Monday night football. The Steelers are a completely different offense when he is playing well.
Russell Gage (WR) - $5700
Two ATL WRs in one DFS lineup? Absolutely. Gage is a solid play this week because of the matchup with Tampa.
Tyler Higbee (TE) - $5700
Higbee has a real shot to be a top 5 TE this week (although Darren Waller and Hunter Henry put on a show last night in TNF). Higbee should find plenty of room to rack up yards against the Jets.
Chris Godwin (WR) - $7200
We've targeted the ATL-TB matchup quite a bit in this lineup, and it makes sense because there will be a lot of points put up. Vegas sees this game as the second highest total points scored on the NFL slate in week 15.
Miami Dolphins (DEF) - $4600
The Dolphins have been sneaky good this year on defense. They intercepted Patrick Mahomes three times last week and have a chance to make a big statement against the Patriots in Week 15.

For most fantasy football leagues, Week 15 marks the second round of fantasy playoffs.
As you may have learned from last week, playoffs require a slightly different strategy. Now is not the time to gamble on a player that could develop—you need to pick the perfect players to overperform in Week 15, depending on their matchups, injury reports, and various other factors.
A win this week could lead to third, second or even a first place cash prize—or it could mean your frenemy claims your $100 entry fee and your dignity. If you want to cash in next week, here are some drops, pops and shops to make in the second round of fantasy playoffs.
Drop
Antonio Brown

When Antonio Brown became a fantasy factor in Week 9, fantasy managers who stashed him early thought their golden egg would hatch soon enough. While there's still a chance to cash in on this investment in Week 15 against the Falcons, the fact is that Brown has been closer to gooseggs than golden ones. In his five weeks of play, he's gotten 25 total receptions, but he hasn't been the number one overall pick he once was in 2017. He might be one of Brady's favorite targets, but so are Mike Evans, Gronk and apparently Scotty Miller.

Ezekiel Elliott

In Week 8, I suggested dropping Ezekiel Elliott, which would have been a fantasy faux pas in any year before 2020. If you kept Elliott, you enjoyed his 18-point game against the Vikings, but every other start has been a disappointment for the former fantasy first-rounder. Recovering from a calf injury, Elliott split carries with Tony Pollard this week and converted 12 carries into a measly 48 yards. Hurt as he heads into a matchup against the fourth best NFL run defense, things look sour for Elliott in Week 15. Consider starting someone else if possible, like David Montgomery, D'Andre Swift, or Melvin Gordon.

David Montgomery

A skyrocketing fantasy star since the bye, David Montgomery is everything you wanted this Bears running back to be. In the last three games, Montgomery has notched nearly 400 yards and four touchdowns, and the trend will likely continue against the Vikings this week. Montgomery is in set-it-and-forget-it territory for the rest of playoffs, so keep him locked in your lineup as long as you last.

D'Andre Swift

After a three-week absence, D'Andre Swift is back, and he's here to lead the Lions running back committee without question. Unlike other NFL RB committees (hello San Francisco), the Lions have their committee order in check, meaning Swift is a sure thing when he's healthy. Although he only managed seven carries for 24 yards, a touchdown saved Swift fantasy owners last week, redeeming his value as a playoff-level player. Facing a weak Titans run defense this week, Swift could get even more work if Stafford is injured in Week 15.

Emmanuel Sanders

Drew Brees, or not Drew Brees—that is the question in Week 15.
Whether Drew breezes back for a surefire shootout against the Chiefs or not, it looks like veteran Emmanuel Sanders will get work no matter what. Disappointingly spotty all season, Sanders has produced decent numbers as a flex option, but Week 15 provides a great matchup for someone Taysom Hill has been targeting as well. Although a touchdown saved him last week, Sanders stands to get some catches this week—after all, he's gotten at least three in the past four games.

Chad Hansen

Another benefactor of a decimated roster, Chad Hansen has swooped in to catch Deshaun Watson's bombs just in time for playoffs. Promoted from the practice squad in Week 13, Hansen has scored 12 catches for 157 yards over the past two weeks. While he's been relegated back to the practice squad as of Monday, it's likely that he could return in Week 15. Upgraded or not, he's worth stashing for the next two weeks just in case. If you're not confident in Hansen, Keke Coutee is the only other Houston receiving option unless Brandin Cooks returns.

Russell Gage

Julio is out, Calvin and Russell are in.
While Calvin Ridley is a definite play as the seventh overall fantasy receiver, fellow Falcons wide receiver Russell Gage is available in 85 percent of ESPN leagues. Gage's week went particularly well because he threw a 39-yard touchdown to Calvin Ridley, but he still has a prime matchup against a Tampa Bay defense that's given up the ninth most yards all season. Although the Buccaneers have talented safeties, Gage's position as WR2 positions him to get solid volume in Week 15.

Tim Patrick

Fantasy is always a gamble, but there are still sure bets on waivers that deliver on their promise. That was Tim Patrick this season: I suggested picking him up in Week 7, and here he is in the playoffs, averagng 10.2 points per game at the 35th overall receiver. Miraculously, Patrick is still available in 77 percent of ESPN leagues, which is surprising for Denver's most consistent red zone target. Sure, they actually played an NFL game without a quarterback, but Patrick and Melvin Gordon might be the most stable aspects of this shaky offense. Ignore the noise and pick up Patrick if he's still available in your league for Week 15.

Rashard Higgins

We've all been waiting for Rashard Higgins to live up to his fantasy potential: I've been waiting since Week 8, and Yahoo Sports' Matt Harmon has been waiting for forever, apparently.

Higgins may have finally arrived in time for playoffs this year: he's gotten six catches and a touchdown in each of his past two games. On a playoff-bound Browns team, Higgins is likely to get some work against the New York Giants in Week 15.
As a Dad, it's kind of magical that my kids remind me of me at their ages; that also means they're insane.
All quarantine they've been bouncing off the walls, and now that they need to focus for school, they spend the rest of their time vibrating at hyper speed, especially during football games. They like to watch and also run around in my old jerseys chasing the dog and shouting at the screen.
My wife knew I missed going to games with her or at least watching when we could give it all our attention, so she suggested making the game more fun with FanDuel.
I'd missed the Fantasy drafts, but they have Daily Fantasy Sports, so it didn't matter. They have an online version and an app that I heard was really easy to use, so I made an account with my name, email, card, and social (it stops coaches and players from betting).
Once I was in, it was pretty simple - instead of committing to a 4-month league, you switch up your teams on a weekly basis. For new users, they match your first deposit and there's a chance for a bonus of up to $500!
I snuck away for an hour during the week to do all my research (my wife also gets an hour to watch reality tv). You can lock in your lineup right up until the game.
NFL was the only thing on my mind, but they have pretty much every sport you can think of.
When it was gametime, I was pumped. I even told my kids that I was doing fantasy and my son, Michael told me why he didn't like my lineup and why. I was kind of proud.
I tried to switch channels during the game commercials, but it was too chaotic. I followed along with the app on my phone to see how I was doing.
For my first time? Not bad!
I made sure my coworkers knew about it because they're all competitive people.
I cannot wait until next week. FanDuel let me cash out immediately, and offers plenty of bonus offers that make it fun every week.
Even when I can go to games again or at least watch one without anybody running headfirst into the coffee table, I'll be playing fantasy with FanDuel.
Unless you're the Pittsburgh Steelers, chances are your team is still uncertain about making the playoffs.
The Packers lost, yet the Saints won. The Seahawks won, but so did the Rams. The NFC is in a frenzy, while the Steelers sit atop the AFC waiting for everyone else to catch up. With only five weeks left, the playoff picture is a little fuzzy, but it clarifies with each game.
Likewise, fantasy playoffs are just on the horizon, and unless you're undefeated, there's a strong chance you're still clamoring for a spot.
If you need to make some moves for a playoff berth, here are some suggestions in this week's drops, swaps and shops.
Note: For ESPN Leagues, all public leagues must submit trades before the trade deadline on Wednesday, November 25th at 12 ET. Rules vary within leagues, but this could be your last week for swaps.

Baker Mayfield
© Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports
It may surprise you to realize that the Browns are 7-3, making them a top AFC team and second in their division only behind the Steelers. Yes, that means they even have a better record than the Ravens.
But those victories aren't the result of Mayfield's play: he's thrown for under 250 yards in ever game but one, and in that monster Week 7 anomaly, he threw for five touchdowns rather than his usual one or two.
It's Week 12 of the NFL season. The last time Baker Mayfield scored a touchdown, it was Week 7.— Paul Charchian (@Paul Charchian) 1606269552.0
Simply put, Mayfield is ranked 25th, so even in a 12-person, two-QB league, you can stand to do better than the Browns starter. Even if you're a Browns fan, it's not worth having him on your squad.
Swap
T.J. Hockenson
© Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports
It's always fun to root for players in the Thanksgiving game, so if you have a few extra trading chips and need a TE, Hockenson has been solid all season. Currently ranking fifth among tight ends, Hockenson has racked up 40 targets in the past six games and found the end zone five times over ten starts.
He's currently listed as questionable for Thanksgiving, but that could even lower his value this week if you want to score a last-minute trade. Consider Hockenson in a league that's honestly quite thin at standout tight ends that are still healthy.

Michael Pittman Jr.

In back-to-back games, Michael Pittman has emerged as Phillip River's favorite target on a lackluster Colts passing offense. While T.Y. Hilton has fallen by the wayside, Pittman has emerged with ten receptions, 167 yards and a touchdown over the past two games. Pittman should be the top target on waivers this week as the Colts face division rival Tennessee Titans.

Both Hyde and Rodgers are listed together here because picking and playing them depends on what happens to their injured starters. If Chris Carson and Zach Ertz return this Sunday, Hyde would be a solid starter, while Rodgers could be a flex option as he competes with Dallas Goedert.
The funny thing here is that the Eagles and Seahawks face off for Monday Night Football, making it a must-watch primetime game for fantasy owners.

Brandon McManus

Another player ranked fifth amongst his cohort, Brandon McManus is still available in half of ESPN leagues. Unless you're one of a lucky four who has better kicker, McManus is a better option. Denver kickers get a little advantage at home kicking in thinner air, but McManus is still a straight-shooter, missing only one field goal this season (and it was over 50 yards). Pick up McManus before anyone else notices for a solid kicker to propel you to the championship round.
