We've got good news and better news.
MLB's season is just past the midway point and FanDuel Sportsbook is still giving out an incredible offer.
We've all been thinking about getting back to the ballpark this summer, if we haven't done so already, and FanDuel is offering up a $1,000 Risk Free bet for new app users. Take advantage your next time at a game to spice things up or improve your at-home viewing experience.
They're also offering up a Risk-Free Same Game Parlay, if you rather use that promotion. You can place a pre-game 3+ leg same game parlay on any eligible MLB game; if you lose, you'll get a refund in site credit. Anytime from March 25th to October 3rd, you've got a chance to try it out.
To prepare for either offer, you'll just need to download FanDuel Sportsbook and set up your account.
FanDuel Sportsbook is fantastic at breaking down tricky concepts, so here's the parlay term explained:
"You can combine multiple bets from one matchup or team into a single parlay to go for an even bigger win."
That means that if you know in your heart of hearts that your team is going to win their next game, you can "bet on them to win, the total runs to go over, and their star player to hit a home run — all in one parlay." If every leg hits, you'll win more than the sum of your bets. If you miss one leg, you'll lose the parlay.
If you're still a little rusty, they've got full tutorials too!
You can download FanDuel Sportsbook on your computer or directly from the app in the store. All you have to do is enter your information and link up your card. The great thing about FanDuel Sportsbook is you can securely cash out at any time, with no minimum amount of set number of withdrawals.
The app layout is super easy to navigate, even if you're a total beginner. They also have football, hockey, basketball, golf, MMA, darts, and any other sport you'd be interested in placing a wager.
Syncing up almost perfectly with the news that the NBA will return on December 22nd (just in time for the hallowed Christmas Day games)Turner Sports and FanDuel Group announce they've reached a multi-year agreement, making FanDuel the official sportsbook partner for all professional basketball on TNT.
In addition to FanDuel's integration with NBA on TNT, they'll also be featured on Bleacher Report, the top source of sports content for young fans, and their other digital platforms, like B/R Live and the B/R App.
According to Mike Raffensperger, CMO of FanDuel Group, the company plans to elevate the viewing experience for Turner Sports by providing up-to-the-minute betting information, such as odds and analysis, streamed directly into the broadcast during live game action.

Will Funk, Executive Vice President, Sports Partnerships and Branded Content, Turner Sports, agreed and added, "NBA fans across TNT and Bleacher Report are responding well to sports betting content. We've already seen this with the TV and digital elements we've designed with FanDuel this past season and are excited to expand our partnership."
FanDuel and Turner Sports worked together in the 2020 NBA Playoffs, which proved to be the beginning of a fruitful relationship for the two companies. Inside the NBA, an Emmy award winning studio show headlined by Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, Kenny Smith, premiered the FanDuel Sportsbook Odds Board, a segment that centered around a discussion of the odds and public betting percentages on the night's slate of matchups.

As the U.S. betting market has expanded to 18 states and the District of Columbia, so has the interest in sports betting nationwide. Turner reported that the "TNT Bets" simulcast of the NBA playoffs, the first foray into providing FanDuel odds to fans, showed tremendous engagement, representing a growth in viewers, who also tuned into the broadcasts longer.
Going forward, that type of extended, locked-in viewership is exactly what Turner Sports wants to garner and, conversely, FanDuel, as the industry-leading online sportsbook, plans to be the one providing the action to those viewers.
Has all this talk gotten you excited about the upcoming season? Well, good news! FanDuel has already posted odds for who'll be the number one pick in the NBA Draft and who'll be the 2021 NBA champions. You can currently bet the odds on favorite, Anthony Edwards, at -210, LaMelo Ball at +280, or James Wiseman at +420.
As of now, the Los Angeles Lakers are favored to defend their NBA title at +360, the Los Angeles Clippers, even after blowing a 3-1 lead, come in next at +480, and the Milwaukee Bucks, certainly on the strength of two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, are third at +600.
Fanduel Sportsbook has released their 2020 prop bets for the season.

Let's take a look at some favorable lines that you should take advantage of right now:

The Indianapolis Colts win line right now is set at 8.5 games. With the addition of Phillip Rivers at QB and the offensive upgrades in Michael Pittman Jr. and Jonathan Taylor via the draft, the Colts have set themselves up for a bounceback year. These additions, coupled with a weak AFC South, allows the Colts to get to 9 wins pretty easily in my book.
Bet: Colts OVER 8.5 wins

Lots of money coming in on the Saints to be under 10.5 wins this year. I like the Saints to win 11 this year. Tampa Bay is getting all the love in the NFC South, but the Saints are returning with a stellar defensive core as well as adding Emmanuel Sanders to the offense. Even if you are worried about Drew Brees' health this year, Jameis Winston will be backing him up and is more than capable of filling in for an extended absence.
Bet: Saints OVER 10.5 wins

Another prop that I really like this year in the NFL is the Steelers winning the AFC North. Baltimore is the favorite, as they should be after a spectacular 12-4 season a year ago. The one unknown this year is how teams will adapt to Lamar Jackson. He is dynamic, but he will have to show that he can beat teams with his arm rather than his legs at some point. With the return of Ben Roethlisberger, I like the Steelers chances of getting back to the top.
Bet: AFC North Champion STEELERS

Bills quarterback Josh Allen is a polarizing player in the NFL. He has been lauded for having one of the strongest arms in the league but has been knocked for his lack of accuracy throughout his college and professional career. The Bills traded for Stefon Diggs during the offseason to give them a bonafide top wide receiver. John Brown will slide into the #2 role, and Cole Beasley will work primarily from the slot. With the addition of Diggs, and another offseason under his belt, I see Allen going over 3,300 yards this year.
Bet: Allen OVER 3249.5 Total Passing Yards

Gronkowski is back from retirement! He couldn't resist a Brady reunion in Tampa Bay. He is not the same all around TE that he was with New England, he'll mainly be asked to be a pass catcher while leaving blocking duties to Cameron Brate and OJ Howard. Brady hasn't had a normal offseason to gel with his new receivers. My bet is Brady will be looking at Gronk as a safety blanket early in the season.
