Each Friday, FindBet will preview the week's DFS slate, highlighting players that are priced well on DFS sites, as well as some contrarian plays that can push your team to the top of the leader board.
Most NFL DFS games have you putting a team together with players from a certain slate of games. It could be just Sunday 1:00 PM games, or it could be every game that is slated for the week. Once the last game that has eligible players is over, the final payouts are made according to how many fantasy points each team scored. Each player is worth a certain dollar amount, and you have a cap of $60,000 to build your team with. You have to have 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX (RB, WR, or TE) and 1 DEF.
The general scoring rules include (6) points for each rushing and receiving touchdown, (4) points for each passing touchdown, (0.1) points for each rushing and receiving yard gained, (0.04) points for each passing yard, and also (0.5) points for each reception. There are other scoring opportunities for defenses. Let's take a look at players we like in the first round of the NFL playoffs this weekend.
Players to Target:
Baker Mayfield (QB) - $7400
The Browns are going to need to have their best offensive game to date. The Chiefs are going to make it a priority to stop Cleveland's run game, which means more opportunities for Baker and the Browns' WRs.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire (RB) - $6100
We've got a lot of investment this week in the Browns-Chiefs game. Edwards-Helaire is at a solid price this week for his projected workload. Even with Le'Veon Bell cutting into his work, he is a good play at this price.
Wondering if Clyde Edwards-Helaire could get more run than we've seen yet vs. the Browns -15, 12, 21 and 15 touche… https://t.co/hAp3DlievP— Ian Hartitz (@Ian Hartitz) 1610648344.0
Nick Chubb (RB) - $8200
Chubb and Hunt had a great against the Steelers last week. The Browns will feed both Chubb and Hunt plenty against the Chiefs in an attempt to keep Patrick Mahomes off the field.
Mike Evans (WR) - $7100
Evans gets another shot to perform this week against a New Orleans defense that can be exploited. Tampa has a great shot to upset New Orleans this week.
Mike Evans' 119 receiving yards is the most ever by a Buccaneer in a playoff game. The previous record was 106 by K… https://t.co/Rr8pI8ClaP— Scott Smith (@Scott Smith) 1610252483.0
Demarcus Robinson (WR) - $5100
With Denzel Ward coming back at CB for the Browns, who will be shadowing Tyreek Hill, and with Sammy Watkins still nursing injuries, Demarcus Robinson has a real shot to produce on Sunday afternoon.
Stefon Diggs (WR) - $8600
Diggs is becoming matchup proof, and a date with a tough Baltimore secondary isn't enough to scare us away of taking a shot again this week.
Mark Andrews (TE) - $6600
Andrews gets a Bills defense who has been atrocious against guarding TEs this year. You can see what Jack Doyle, Trey Burton and Mo Allie-Cox did against the Bills last week in the wildcard game as proof.
Buffalo has to keep an eye on #Ravens TE Mark Andrews a lottttt this weekend The #Bills allowed 993 receiving yard… https://t.co/D3hymv73XZ— Nick (@Nick) 1610720559.0
Cam Akers (RB) - $7000
Akers has been electric for the Rams late in the year. The Packers are extremely susceptible to the run, which should translate to a good day if the score remains close.
Los Angeles Rams (DEF) - $3800
Going out on a bit of a limb here, but I think the LA Rams can get a turnover or two and possibly even snag a TD to make this play worth it.

Players to Target:
Justin Herbert (QB) - $7600
Herbert gets a Chiefs squad this week that is setting most of their meaningful starters because they already have the #1 seed in the AFC locked up. This gives Herbert a chance to shine one last time before going into the 2021 offseason.
Jonathan Taylor (RB) - $8400
Taylor has been electric the last month, and with a a great matchup to end the year against the Jaguars on the schedule, he should finish the 2020 season on a high note.
Jonathan Taylor has a 37% forced missed tackle rate over the last 4 weeks Highest among all RBs https://t.co/TAC3GKaGxS— PFF Fantasy Football (@PFF Fantasy Football) 1608921006.0
Myles Gaskin (RB) - $6700
Gaskin had a massive game last week after returning from the COVID-19 list. With Buffalo rumored to be resting key starters and the Dolphins in a must win scenario, Gaskin has another chance at a great week.
CeeDee Lamb (WR) - $6100
Lamb has really turned it on the last couple of weeks as Dallas' offense has snapped out of it's mid season slump. He also gets yards for punt returns which is a bonus in DFS.
Justin Jefferson (WR) - $8000
The lineup this week is seemingly loaded with impact rookies from the 2020 season. Jefferson's matchup with a completely dis-interested Lions team is a match made in heaven.
Curtis Samuel (WR) - $6100
With CMC ruled out for the last game of the year, Samuel will again get 3-5 rushing attempts in their game against New Orleans. The Panthers have a chance to spoil NO's chance at the top seed, which gives them plenty of reason to play their starters.
Gonna miss Curtis Samuel when he ultimately leaves the Panthers in free agency. https://t.co/pRXomBaWvq— Johnny Kinsley (MF DOOM FOREVER) (@Johnny Kinsley (MF DOOM FOREVER)) 1609443532.0
Mark Andrews (TE) - $7200
Andrews matches up against a CIN defense that has been in the bottom third of the NFL when defending against TEs. He should have a good week as BAL needs a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Rashard Higgins (WR) - $5600
Higgins is a great value at this price. He has great rapport with Baker Mayfield and continues to produce at a great value.
Miami Dolphins (DEF) - $4300
Buffalo playing backups + Miami Dolphins team desperate for a win = Great spot for a Miami Defense play.

There are other scoring opportunities for defenses. Let's take a look at players we like this week.
Players to Target:
Lamar Jackson (QB) - $8000
Jackson gets Cleveland this week, who has struggled to contain Top 10 QBS this year. Jackson hasn't had a great season, but this is a good matchup to take advantage of this week.
Jonathan Taylor (RB) - $7000
Taylor gets Vegas this week. The Colts have finally given him the "keys to the car" in the Indianapolis backfield. He's put back to back 15+ point fantasy performances together and is primed to make it a third against the Raiders.
Aaron Jones (RB) - $8700
Aaron Jones gets a Detroit defense that cannot stop the run. The Packers offense runs through Aaron Rodgers, but Jones seems to be in a really good position to have a good day on the ground.
Amari Cooper (WR) - $6800
Cooper has been a solid fantasy WR with Dalton back at QB. Dalton is peppering Cooper with targets and red zone opportunities when he is in the lineup. He should do well against a beatable Bengals defense.
Curtis Samuel (WR) - $5900
Samuel was activated from the COVID-19 list on Friday and should be good to go for Sunday's game against Denver. The Panthers will most likely be without DJ Moore, so Samuel is in line for more work.
Keenan Allen (WR) - $8500
The Chargers have a great match up this week against the Falcons in which we should see a bounce back performance from Justin Herbert's goose egg against the Patriots last week. Allen should have a nice bounce back week as well.
Hunter Henry (TE) - $5600
Henry is in the same boat as Allen. With a Herbert resurgence against an inferior defense, Henry should benefit as well.
JD McKissic (RB) - $5300
Turf toe will keep Antonio Gibson out of the lineup this week, so McKissic should get early down and passing work this week in his place. A great pick for the price and the expected volume.
Kansas City Chiefs (DEF) - $4200
Kansas City matches up against a Miami defense with an inconsistent rookie QB. I will take that match up all day (and twice on Sunday.)

Here's a team you can put right into any of your contests, just remember to buy us a beer when you win big!
We're creeping closer to the beginning of the 2020 NFL Season.
With the busiest weekend for fantasy football drafts fast approaching, let's dive into some Kicker tiers for 2020.
I personally do no draft a kicker or a defense until the last three rounds of any of my fantasy drafts. I tend to stream defenses weekly, or I will pair two defenses together for a season and play the better match-up. When drafting, don't spend any more than one draft pick on a kicker and one on a defense. Drafting more than one is a massive mistake, and could keep a high ceiling player off your roster that could help later on in the year.
We've grouped our kickers into tiers, this way during drafts, you can see what options you have left in each tier as managers start drafting them for their teams. Each player/team will be ranked left to right for simplicity. Let's get to it:
Tier 1: Set It & Forget It
Justin Tucker (BAL), Harrison Butker (KC), Greg Zuerlein (DAL), Wil Lutz (NO), Robbie Gould (SF).
You really can't go wrong with any of these kickers in the top tier. Each is going to be part of an elite offense in 2020 with plenty of scoring opportunities. Tucker and Butker are a bit higher than the other 3 just due to how explosive each of their respective offenses are, Zuerlein is kicking in Dallas in 2020 and should get a bit of a boost with kicking indoors for half of his games. Lutz and Gould round out the top five, and both should produce excellent fantasy campaigns in 2020.
Justin Tucker is the #1 Kicker in our rankings for 2020BaltimoreRavens.com
Tier 2: Solid Starters
Matt Gay (TB), Zane Gonzalez (AZ), Younghoe Koo (ATL), Ka'imi Fairbairn (HOU), Matt Prater (DET), Dan Bailey (MIN).
You could make the case for Matt Gay being in Tier 1 with the addition of TOm Brady at QB this year in Tampa Bay. I think he'll be overlooked slightly in drafts and could be a great catch as the 6th or 7th kicker off the board. He's a guy I am targeting in redrafts this year. Gonzalaez should benefit from offensive additions and another year under Kyler Murray's belt. Koo and Fairbairn are both in top 10 offenses and should see plenty of opportunities at points. Prater and Bailey are both solid contributors as well in this group.
Tier 3: Match-up Dependent Starters
Michael Badgley (LAC), Joey Slye (CAR), Chris Boswell (PIT), Brandon McManus (DEN), Austin Seibert (CLE), Tyler Bass (BUF), Jason Myers (SEA)
Badgley could be a really nice streamer in 2020 due to the Chargers taking a step back, offensively in my opinion. Joey Slye had several excellent weeks in 2019 with Kyle Allen as his QB in 2019 and should have a chance to repeat in 2020. Austin Seibert could be another diamond in the rough as well with a bounce back campaign for Cleveland's offense. Tyler Bass is a rookie with a massive leg, and he was just handed the starting job in Buffalo for 2020. McManus and Myers will most likely be solid, but not have too many spectacular weeks.
Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports
Tier 4: Streamers
Dustin Hopkins (WAS), Greg Joseph (TEN), Eddy Pineiro (CHI), Jason Sanders (MIA), Sam Sloman (LAR), Graham Gano (NYG), Justin Rohrwasser (NE)
Another late round target this year that intrigues me is Rohrwasser from NE. Belicheck & Co. were impressed enough to not sign Gostkowski in the off season and all reports point to Rohrwasser having a very strong training camp to this point. He's a lottery ticket that has top 10 potential. Sam Sloman will take over for the Rams, and if they can return to more of a 2018-like offense, he could be another player that ends the year in the top 10.
Los Angeles Daily News
Tier 5: Desperation Plays
Randy Bullock (CIN), Brett Maher (NYJ), Daniel Carlson (LV), Josh Lambo (JAC).
Very little upside here with any of these last four. Lambo my have some streaming appeal due to Jacksonville playing from behind most of the year, but you can do much better than these players.
