nfl week 10

Alex Smith Quarterback of the Washington Football Team

Raj Mehta - USA TODAY Sports

At this point in the season we know who the playoff contenders are, and each game becomes more important to determine who makes it in.

The Colts and Cardinals came away with wins that put them both tied for the lead in their respective divisions. With their Week 10 wins, the Buccaneers and Dolphins drew to within a one game striking distance for their divisions' top spot. The Bills, Ravens, Seahawks, Eagles, and Titans took losses giving up valuable ground for playoff positioning.

Drew Brees suffered fractured ribs and a collapsed lung in a win over the 49ers, and is expected to miss at least two weeks. Jameis Winston will fill in during Brees' absence and will have a great opportunity to raise his value in free agency by keeping the razor thin division lead the Saints have over Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.

Let's take a look at FindBet's Week 11 NFL Power Rankings based on what we've seen so far this season.

Ryan Tannehill attempts to avoid pressure form a stout Colts defense.

For about half the day, things were really looking up.

Week 9 Vibe Check (2-2) - Nailing that the Ravens were going to go into Indy and pull a win out at all costs and them delivering felt absolutely tremendous. I saw them at -1 earlier in the week, but by game time they were +1 at some books and I sincerely hope you got to bet an underdog Ravens team.

Going into the afternoon, something became apparent almost immediately: the Steelers were not covering 14 points. The Cowboys' fourth QB of the season, Garrett Gilbert, proved move effectively than the last two, combined. Not to mention, Big Ben was dealing with an injury most of the game. Here's a live look at his recovery now:

Davante Parker laid out his case as Tua's top target and easily put up over 4.5 catches. Meanwhile, I need to start following my own advice or, at least, hold a negotiation with whatever deity the Chargers angered.

Each Friday, FindBet will preview the week's DFS slate, highlighting players that are priced well on FanDuel, as well as some contrarian plays that can push your team to the top of the leader board.

Most NFL FanDuel games have you putting a team together with players from a certain slate of games. It could be just Sunday 1:00 PM games or it could be every game that is slated for the week.

Once the last game that has eligible players is over, the final payouts are made according to how many fantasy points each team scored. Each player is worth a certain dollar amount, and you have a cap of $60,000 to build your team with. You have to have 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX (RB, WR, or TE) and 1 DEF.

The general scoring rules include (6) points for each rushing and receiving touchdown, (4) points for each passing touchdown, (0.1) points for each rushing and receiving yard gained, (0.04) points for each passing yard, and also (0.5) points for each reception. There are other scoring opportunities for defenses. You can see the entire breakdown on FanDuel. Let's take a look at players we like this week.

Players to Target:

Jared Goff (QB) - $7400

Goff isn't on most radars every week, but this week is a good week to take a chance on a lower tier QB going against one of the worst NFL pass defenses the NFL has ever seen. I think you can get good production from him and spend money elsewhere.

Nick Chubb (RB) - $8200

Chubb is on track to return this week against Houston, and should regain his 15-18 touch form against a lower tier run defense in Houston.

Aaron Jones (RB) - $8800

Jones has had some extra time to recover after the Packers Week 9 TNF win over the 49ers. He looked good in that game and with the extra rest should be in good shape this week.

Antonio Gibson (RB) - $6100

The Lions run defense is exploitable, but with WAS starting their 3rd QB of the year, Gibson should get plenty of touches,

JuJu Smith-Schuster (WR) - $6400

The Steelers have a great match up against a Bengals defense that has given up a ton of points this year. JuJu seems to have regained Ben Reothlisberger's attention the past couple of weeks.

Cooper Kupp (WR) - $7700

Kupp has been a disappointment this year in regards to overall production. I like his chances though this week going against the Seahawks.

John Brown (WR) - $5600

Brown is a sneaky sleeper pick this week in what looks to be another high scoring game with the Cardinals. Stefon Diggs will most likely be shadowed by Patrick Peterson, leaving plenty of work for Brown.

Dallas Goedert (TE) - $5800

Goedert had an extra week to continue healing after the Eagles Week 9 bye. He's locked in as a TE1 in that offense at a really nice price this week.

Detroit Lions (DEF) - $3900

A great spot start for the Lions going against WAS this week. That money saved helped us target another stud at RB.
