Rex Burkhead & James White

Despite winning a Super Bowl in 2019, the Patriots offense has been something to avoid in fantasy with the exception of their franchise quarterback and Julian Edelman.

Committing to spread the ball amongst RBs is great for game-planning, but not so great for fantasy managers. It's always been a gamble with Patriots running backs, but in a 3-5 season, James White and Rex Burkhead haven't gotten the necessary volume to maintain a bench spot. While waivers are always thin at RBs, avoid starting these two at all costs.

Adam Thielen

Looks can be deceiving: Thielen is ranked 9th among receivers, but he hasn't been putting up top ten numbers all season.

Sadly, this isn't Thielen's fault, but more the result of a shifting game plan that largely features a fantastic Dalvin Cook. Thielen isn't going to be bad, but he's becoming a riskier and riskier start: see what you can get for him on the trade block.

Chris Godwin

Ignore the Bucs' humiliating loss to the Saints and focus on one thing: Godwin has been hurt all season.

Somehow, he managed to suit up Sunday despite literally breaking his finger on a Brady pass in Week 8. Godwin is capable of great things, but it's hard to know when he will be at his best again. If you're tired of waiting, see if you can sell this WR with a high upside when healthy.

Eric Ebron

If you're looking to bolster your tight end spot, you may want to consider Steelers TE Eric Ebron. The veteran journeyman has put up solid fantasy numbers the past few seasons, and he's just starting to show up on an undefeated Steelers offense. Ebron's seen at least four targets and has had multiple catches since Week 2, and with an incredibly easy schedule on the horizon, it could mean more opportunities for this tight end option.

Richie James

It's the same story with the 49ers offense: you'll want to keep an eye on backups because chances are, they'll be starting eventually.

That's the case with Richie James in Week 9, as the quiet third-year receiver exploded with nine catches for 184 yards and a touchdown. With Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Kendrick Bourne and George Kittle out for the foreseeable future, James is one of the only people left to catch passes.

Travis Homer

Travis Homer could have been a one-hit wonder this week fantasy-wise, but if Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde remain out, he could be a fantasy option in Week 10.

Of course, Homer will continue to split duties with DeeJay Dallas, but it's hard picking up on decent RBs mid-season. For now, Homer should be on your watchlist, but considering how quickly things change in 2020, he could soon be the main man in Seattle's backfield.

David Moore

Another Seahawks player to watch, David Moore has been making fantastic catches all season—he just hasn't had a high enough volume to earn a roster spot on your fantasy team.

Pressed to score, Moore got a season-high four catches against the Bills on Sunday, but he has landed in the end zone at least once in the past two weeks. Like Homer, Moore is worth watching as he could have a greater presence in the weeks to come.
